HOW OLD SHOULD THE CAMPERS BE?Any prospective camper looking to attend must be 15 years of age and no older than 26 years of age by December 31st of this year.

DO I FIT IN AT PINECREST?At Pinecrest we love and welcome everyone, and we mean EVERYONE, as their most authentic selves. We fully believe that your gender, race, ethnicity, primary language, pronouns, 2SLGBTQIA+ identity, athletic ability, musical skills, and religious background all make you exactly who God intended you to be. So we welcome you, just as you are, and are sure that you will find a community full of life long friendships and acceptance.

DO CAMPERS NEED TO BE LUTHERAN?No! We have no requirements of religious affiliation or congregational membership. We welcome and love everyone, just as Jesus asked us to!

HOW MUCH DOES CAMP COST?The seven-day session costs: $450 early bird and first years for first-year campers and veterans who send in their registration before June 15th. Registration costs $475 after June 15 for veteran campers. Attendance for the whole week is strongly encouraged. Unfortunately, we cannot charge partial fees for partial attendance.

ARE THERE SCHOLARSHIPS?Assistance is available to assure that no one is denied this opportunity due to financial need. Many congregations offer assistance. Consult your pastor regarding local programs. Partial, and sometimes full, scholarships are also available from Pinecrest. HOW LONG IS CAMP?Pinecrest meets every August for a one-week session - our 2023 dates are August 6th-12th, 2023.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?Sleeping bag and or sheet/blanket and pillow. Casual clothes (morning / evenings can be cool), rain gear, bathing suit, sturdy shoes, Dress Clothes for our end of week banquet, flashlight. Towels, toiletries, shower shoes - the bathrooms are in a separate cabin. Optional things include musical equipment, athletic equipment. Be sure to bring your Bible, a notebook, pens and / or pencils.

WHERE DO WE SLEEP?The Pinecrest community resides in cabin villages. Each cabin is under the guidance of a Cabin Leader - a veteran camper chosen by staff for their leadership skills demonstrated in previous sessions.
